The main patch on Isaacs Ridge Oxypetalum coeruleum (Tweedia or Southern Star) is nowhere near a track. I am surprised the infestation on Hindmarsh Drive near Tamar Street has not moved into Mugga Mugga; it is one metre from the edge of the road so the seeds could be picked up by any passing vehicle and travel anywhere.

Thanks Peter, have amended the location. Pretty sure this weed was brought into the ACT via stock and/or hay transferred to Red Hill from northern NSW, I have removed hundreds from Red Hill and although not forming monocultures is a persistent weed and very hard to get rid of in rocky places once established. So I strongly support and thank you for your efforts on Cooleman Ridge. I think it has been moved around the ACT by infrastructure and possibly park staff vehicles moving from infected areas as it does seem to be first recorded at new locations as established next to vehicle tracks.

Thanks. Btw, I’m not sure that the rangers/PCS see this as a priority species, and nor does Cooleman Ridge Parkcare (of which I’m a member). They focus on SJW, verbascum, ALG etc. But as tweedia is only in a small area of the ridge so far, for the last few years I’ve been trying to at least prevent its spread.

thanks @PGL

I am not able to amend the location but I can use your co-ordinates to transfer to Field maps for the Ranger to see the location.
@MichaelMulvaney @Tapirlord may be able to adjust the location.

Thanks HarleyB, I'd overlooked that. I don't know how to edit this on NatureMapr, but the coordinates are below. Are you able to amend this record?
